Report: G Norman Powell agrees to 2-year, $45M deal with Bulls

The Chicago Bulls are in agreement with All-Star guard Norman ​Powell on a two-year, $45 ‌million contract, ESPN reported Wednesday.

The 33-year-old guard averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and ‌2.5 ​assists in ⁠58 games (52 starts) ⁠in his lone season with the Miami Heat in 2025-26.

It was Powell’s ​second straight season averaging more than 20 ⁠points per ⁠game and the ​third straight season in which ​he knocked down at ‌least 150 3-pointers. He is a 39.6% shooter from behind the ⁠arc over his 11-year career.

Powell has career averages of 14.0 ⁠points ‌and 2.7 rebounds ⁠in 675 games (311 starts) ​with ‌the Toronto Raptors (2015-21), ​Portland Trail ⁠Blazers (2021-22), Los Angeles Clippers (2022-25) and Heat. He won an NBA title with Toronto in 2019.
