May 1 (Reuters) – Ford is recalling 179,698 vehicles in the ‌U.S. due to a loose bolt in the front ‌seat frame, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Friday.

The recall includes certain 2024-2026 Ranger and Bronco vehicles.

A seat with a dislodged bolt may not properly restrain ‌an occupant in a crash, NHTSA said.

Dealers will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts ‌as necessary at no extra ‌cost, the regulator said.
