Bengals DE Shemar Stewart injures leg, carted from field

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart was carted from the ​field Wednesday after ‌an apparent serious left leg injury during 11-on-11 drills.

Stewart’s left leg appeared to buckle ‌and ​hyperextend before ⁠he went down ⁠on the field. He initially was unable to put any weight ​on his leg before hobbling off the ⁠field. A ⁠cart was summoned to ​get him back to ​the locker room.

Per ESPN, Stewart ‌was spotted on crutches with a protective brace on his left ⁠leg after practice.

Stewart, 22, recorded one sack and two tackles ⁠for ‌loss in eight ⁠games (five starts) last ​season ‌after being selected ​by the ⁠Bengals with the 17th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M.
