Prepare for another wedding uniting an NFL star and a popular entertainer.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and singer/songwriter Madison Beer announced their engagement Tuesday via a joint Instagram post. Herbert got down ‌on one knee and proposed to Beer in a scenic outdoor location filled with flowers and greenery, mountains looming in the backdrop.

She said yes.

“meet my fiance,” Beer wrote.

The engagement news comes less than a ‌month after Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce married global superstar Taylor Swift in a lavish, fairy-tale wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 3.

Herbert, 28, and Beer, 27, are believed to have started dating last August. On Oct. 5, they shared a game-day kiss on the field at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., when the Chargers hosted the Washington Commanders.

The two are known to share loving social media posts. In March, in honor of Beer’s birthday, Herbert wrote:

“Happy birthday to my favorite person of ‌all time. I love you so much. You’ve changed my life forever.”

Herbert was selected by the Chargers with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and was named the Associated Press Offensive Rookie of the Year. He has a 52-43 record as a starter in the regular season, but is ‌0-3 in the postseason, including losses in the opening round in both 2024 and 2025.

Beer rose ‌to fame in 2013 when Justin Bieber shared a video of her covering the Etta James classic “At Last” on social media.

Since then, she has become a platinum-selling singer nominated for two Grammy awards, as well as a songwriter, producer and author. Her third studio album, “Locket,” came out earlier this year.
