Thyssenkrupp to close Indiana automotive site

May 18 (Reuters) – German industrial conglomerate Thyssenkrupp ​will close ‌its production site in Terre Haute, Indiana ‌by ​end-March ⁠next year ⁠under an overhaul of its automotive unit, ​the company said in ⁠a ⁠statement on ​Monday.

Its chassis business ​will be focused ‌at its facility in Hamilton, Ohio, ⁠the company added.

The Terre Haute site, ⁠which ‌currently employs ⁠around 320 ​people, ‌will be ​phased ⁠down in an orderly manner, Thyssenkrupp said.
