CVC names Todd Sisitsky, Peter Rutland as co-CEOs, effective 2028

Sept 9 (Reuters) – CVC Capital Partners said on Wednesday it has named insider Peter ​Rutland and TPG ‌executive Todd Sisitsky as co-chief executive officers, effective the first quarter of 2028, when current CEO Rob ‌Lucas ​steps down.

Lucas, who ⁠has led the ⁠group since 2021 and oversaw CVC’s initial public offering on Euronext Amsterdam in 2024, ​will remain closely involved at a group level and ⁠in the ⁠private equity firm’s investment ​activities after the transition, CVC said.

Sisitsky ​has been TPG president since ‌2021. TPG said in an SEC filing on Tuesday that Sisitsky had resigned from ⁠his role on September 6.

Rutland has been with CVC for 19 years ⁠and ‌is currently a ⁠managing partner and president ​of ‌the firm, which has ​about €212 billion ($246.47 ⁠billion) in assets under management.
