Reports: 49ers owner Jed York arrested in Ohio over weekend

Aug 24 (Field Level Media) – San Francisco 49ers owner ​Jed York was arrested ‌over the weekend in Ohio ontwo misdemeanor charges, multiple news outlets reported.

York, 46, was ‌arrested ​on Sunday in ⁠East Palestine ⁠on counts of disorderlyconduct and possessing criminal tools, WKBN reported.

On Monday morning, York ​pleaded no contest to both charges and was ⁠sentencedto one ⁠day in the Columbiana ​County Jail on each count, ​to be servedconcurrently with ‌credit for time served, and fined $1,150, according to courtrecords obtained by USA ⁠Today and WKBN.

York, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, has been CEO ⁠of ‌the 49ers since ⁠December2008 and the team’s ​principal ‌owner since 2024.

TMZ and ​the ⁠New York Post reported that prosecutors reduced York’s originalcharge of engaging in prostitution to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
