The New York Yankees reinstated outfielder/first baseman Cody Bellinger from the 10-day injured list on Sunday morning, while left-hander Ryan Weathers was placed on the 15-day IL with a forearm flexor ‌strain.

Weathers was removed in the fourth inning of Saturday’s game against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays.

New York also recalled right-hander Brendan Beck from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Bellinger, 31, was placed on the 10-day ‌injured list July 26, one day after he was injured rounding first base during a win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

The former National League MVP is in his second season with New York and played 102 of the Yankees’ first 104 games leading up to the injury. He is batting .259 with 11 home runs, 53 RBIs and 55 walks.

With one ‌out and two runners on in the fourth inning on Saturday, Weathers threw a sweeper to Myles Straw and then called for a visit with catcher Austin Wells. New York manager Aaron Boone and a trainer checked on Weathers, who came out of the game.

Weathers, 26, is 5-8 with a ‌3.60 ERA in 25 starts.

Acquired from the Miami Marlins in January, Weathers is 17-31 with ‌a 4.50 ERA in 95 games (80 starts) in six seasons with the San Diego Padres (2021-23), Marlins (2023-25) and Yankees.

Beck, 27, is 9-2 with a 2.75 ERA in 22 appearances (all starts) with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He is 0-1 with a 9.45 ERA in two appearances (one start) with the Yankees this season.
