Charlie Woods scuffles to 28th in Team TaylorMade defense

Charlie Woods was unable to defend his title ​at the Team ‌TaylorMade Invitational, finishing the three-day American Junior Golf Association event ‌at ​Belleair, Fla., ⁠tied for ⁠28th place at 4-over par.

Woods, the son of golf legend ​Tiger Woods, shot a 3-over ⁠73 in ⁠the final round ​on Sunday. The ​tournament was won by ‌Luke Ringkamp of Palm Desert, Calif., who finished 13-under ⁠par after a final round 64 at Pelican ⁠Golf ‌Club.

Woods, 17, ⁠who has committed ​to ‌Florida State, won ​last ⁠year’s title at 15-under at Streamsong Golf Resort in Bowling Green, Fla.
