Wolves’ Terrence Shannon Jr. questionable for Game 6 vs. Spurs

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Terrence Shannon Jr. was added to the ​injury report for ‌Friday’s Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinal series versus the San ‌Antonio ​Spurs in ⁠Minneapolis.

Shannon is listed ⁠as questionable due to a head contusion.

He missed all five shots from ​the floor and was limited to ⁠just two ⁠points in 17 ​minutes during Minnesota’s 126-97 ​setback in San Antonio in ‌Game 5 on Tuesday. The Spurs hold a 3-2 lead ⁠in the best-of-seven series.

Shannon, 25, averaged 5.6 points in 43 ⁠games (two ‌starts) this season.

A ⁠2024 first-round pick ​out ‌of Illinois, Shannon ​has appeared ⁠in 75 career games (three starts) for Minnesota and has averaged 5.1 points per contest.
