Alibaba quarterly revenue rises 3%, missing estimates

May 13 (Reuters) – China’s Alibaba said on Wednesday ​that fourth-quarter ‌revenue climbed 3%, helped by robust growth for ‌its ​cloud ⁠computing and AI ⁠divisions, while its e-commerce unit also benefited from ​a new round of ⁠government ⁠subsidies.

Revenue came in ​at 243.38 billion ​yuan ($35.84 billion) for ‌the quarter ended March 31, missing an ⁠LSEG consensus estimate from 20 analysts of ⁠247.22 ‌billion yuan.
