Pershing Square’s shares start trading at $24 in NYSE debut

April 29 (Reuters) – Pershing Square’s shares opened at $24 in ​their New ‌York Stock Exchange debut on Wednesday, as investors buy ‌into ​billionaire ⁠activist Bill Ackman’s ⁠alternative asset management company.

The share price for PSUS, the ​closed end fund, opened ⁠at $42 a ⁠share. Investors ​who paid $50 a ​share at the initial ‌offering also received 0.2 shares of PS, the ⁠hedge fund company, which opened at $24 a ⁠share, ‌leaving investors ⁠with a combined ​value ‌of $46.8.
