Northern Ireland police investigate car explosion as attempted murder

BELFAST, April 26 (Reuters) – An attempted murder investigation ‌has begun after a car explosion ‌on Saturday ⁠night outside ⁠a police station south of Belfast, Northern Ireland’s police ⁠service ⁠said on Sunday.

“We have commenced an attempted ‌murder investigation which will be ⁠led by our Terrorism Investigation ⁠Unit,” ‌the force ⁠said in ‌a statement.
