Kennedy says he vetted CDC nominee Schwartz on vaccines

WASHINGTON, April 21 (Reuters) – U.S. Health Secretary ​Robert ‌F. Kennedy Jr. said on Tuesday ‌he ​vetted ⁠Erica Schwartz’s position ⁠on vaccines before she was nominated ​to run the ⁠Centers ⁠for Disease ​Control & Prevention.

Kennedy, testifying ​before the House ‌Energy and Commerce Committee’s Health ⁠Subcommittee, said he had not ⁠spoken to ‌Trump ⁠directly before ​the ‌president nominated ​Schwartz.
