Argentina posts $2.21 billion current account surplus for second quarter

BUENOS AIRES, Sept 29 (Reuters) – Argentina’s ​government ‌posted a current account surplus ‌of $2.21 ​billion for ⁠the second ⁠quarter of 2026, compared to ​a deficit of $2.45 billion ⁠recorded ⁠a year ​earlier, official ​data showed on ‌Tuesday.

The second quarter ⁠surplus follows a $2.41 billion deficit ⁠registered ‌in ⁠the first ​quarter ‌of the ​year.
