Sep 29 (Field Level Media) – Two-time NBA champion J.R. Smith was arrested on a charge of family violence in Texas on Monday, according to multiple reports.
No bond had been set and Smith, 41, remained behind bars at the Hunt County Detention Center as of midday on Tuesday, according to jail records.
Smith was arrested by the Royse City Police Department on a warrant issued by the Southlake Police Department for a charge of assault causing bodily injury family violence. Police did not release any further details.
