Sep 25 (Field Level Media) – New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson said he is “fully cleared” to return following offseason wrist surgery.
The All-Star point guard had a procedure on his left wrist in July after leading New York to its first title in 53 years.
Brunson, 30, confirmed his readiness during an appearance Thursday on his “Roommates Show” on YouTube.
“As you guys know, I had surgery this offseason, and I just wanted to tell you guys that I am fully cleared,” he told the crowd during a live taping at Randall’s Island Park in New York City.
The 2026 Finals MVP averaged a playoff-high 28.4 points in the Knicks’ 16-3 playoff march to the championship.
Brunson averaged 26.0 points, 6.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 74 games (all starts) during the 2025-26 regular season.
The Knicks’ preseason opener is Oct. 5 at Philadelphia. They open the regular season at home against the 76ers on Oct. 20.
