North Korea says hostile US policy unchanged, nuclear arms to keep growing

SEOUL, Aug 31 (Reuters) – North Korea said ​on Monday ‌the United States’ hostile policy remained unchanged ‌and ​said ⁠its nuclear weapons ⁠were an absolute guarantee of sovereignty that ​would continue to ⁠be strengthened.

A ⁠statement from ​its Foreign ​Ministry carried by state ‌media KCNA also said expecting any ⁠easing of regional tensions was “meaningless” and ⁠that ‌North ⁠Korea’s policy ​toward ‌the United States ​had ⁠not changed at all.
