The Columbus Crew loaned midfielder Hugo Picard to French Ligue 1 side Troyes on Monday.
The deal runs through the 2027 MLS season and includes a purchase option for the 23-year-old Frenchman.
Picard joined the Crew as a U22 Initiative signing last summer from Ligue 2 club EA Guingamp.
He has recorded six goals and two assists in 33 appearances across all competitions with Columbus.
