RFK Jr. to unveil plan targeting loophole allowing chemicals in food, WaPo reports

Aug 10 (Reuters) – U.S. Health Secretary Robert ​F. ‌Kennedy Jr. is expected on Monday to ‌announce ​a ⁠plan to ⁠change a decades-old loophole that has allowed food ​companies to use ⁠certain ⁠chemicals in ​their products ​without notifying the ‌federal food regulators, the Washington ⁠Post reported.

Reuters could not immediately verify ⁠the ‌report, which ⁠cited ​people ‌familiar with the ​matter.
