MP Materials’ second-quarter loss shrinks on rising sales, US price support

Aug 6 (Reuters) – Rare earths producer MP ​Materials ‌said on Thursday its second-quarter net ‌loss ​shrank ⁠due to ⁠rising sales and its price support agreement ​with the U.S. ⁠government.

The ⁠company posted ​a net ​loss of $20.3 million, ‌or 11 cents per share, ⁠compared to a net loss of $30.9 ⁠million, ‌or ⁠19 cents ​per ‌share, in ​the year-ago ⁠quarter.
