NYCFC G Greg Ranjitsingh extended through 2027-28

New York City FC signed veteran goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh to a contract extension through ​2027-28 on Tuesday.

The deal ‌with the 33-year-old journeyman also includes an option for the 2028-29 campaign.

“Greg brings valuable experience and leadership to ‌our ​goalkeeping unit,” NYCFC sporting ⁠director Todd Dunivant ⁠said. “His impact in the locker room is felt on a daily basis, as he is ​a culture carrier for the team.”

Ranjitsingh joined New York City ⁠in January 2025 ⁠after making a total ​of nine MLS regular-season starts with ​Orlando City (2019), Minnesota United (2020) and Toronto ‌FC (2023). He has also spent time with the Philadelphia Union and Los Angeles FC.

“Extending my ⁠contract with New York City FC means a lot to me,” Ranjitsingh said. “We ⁠have ‌a special group here, ⁠and I’m grateful for ​the ‌opportunity to continue being part ​of it. ⁠I’m excited to keep bringing energy every day, supporting my teammates and doing everything I can to help the club succeed.”
