Former China Development Bank president put under anti-graft investigation

BEIJING, July 19 (Reuters) – The former president ​of ‌the China Development Bank, Ouyang Weimin, has ‌been ​put ⁠under investigation on ⁠suspicion of serious disciplinary and legal ​violations, China’s anti-graft ⁠watchdog, the ⁠Central Commission ​for Discipline ​Inspection, said on Sunday.

In ‌2024, a former vice president ⁠of the bank was sentenced to ⁠12 ‌years ⁠jail and ​fined ‌for accepting ​bribes.
