The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to visit the White House for the second straight year, with The Athletic reporting the celebration of their 2025 title will ‌take place July 23.

The Dodgers won their third World Series in six seasons when they finished a late comeback in a memorable Game 7 on the road against the ‌Toronto Blue Jays last fall. Miguel Rojas hit a game-tying home run in the ninth inning and Will Smith hit a go-ahead homer in the 11th inning. Yoshinobu Yamamoto earned wins in Games 6 and 7.

It will be a busy time on the East Coast starting next week for the Dodgers. Five players were named to the National League squad for Tuesday’s All-Star Game at Philadelphia. The Dodgers’ entire coaching staff, led by manager Dave ‌Roberts, will lead the NL squad.

The two-time defending champions then open the second half Friday against the New York Yankees before heading back to Philadelphia to face the Phillies and making a return visit to New York to face the Mets.

The visit to the White ‌House will take place on an off day between the series against the ‌Phillies and Mets.

The Dodgers visited the White House in April of 2025 after winning the 2024 title. During that celebration, President Donald Trump gushed over superstar Shohei Ohtani, saying, “He looks like a movie star.”

The president also called Ohtani “an amazing athlete and person.”
