Earthquake of magnitude 5.81 strikes Mindanao, Philippines, GFZ says

July 6 (Reuters) – An earthquake of ​magnitude ‌5.81 struck Mindanao, Philippines on ‌Monday, ​the ⁠German Research ⁠Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The Philippine seismology ​agency Phivolcs ⁠said ⁠no damage ​or aftershocks ​were expected from ‌the offshore tremor.

The quake ⁠was at a depth of ⁠10 ‌km (6.21 ⁠miles), ​according ‌to the ​GFZ report.
