Polish military ends air operation, reports no airspace violations, armed forces say

July 2 (Reuters) – Military aviation operations in Poland’s ​airspace related ‌to Russia’s strikes on Ukraine have ended, the Polish ‌army ​said.

“We would ⁠like to ⁠inform you that no violations of Polish airspace ​were recorded,” it said ⁠on X.

Earlier ⁠in the ​night, the Polish ​Armed Forces said that ‌Poland, a NATO and European Union member, ⁠scrambled fighter jets on Thursday as a ⁠preventive ‌measure following ⁠Russia’s attack ​on ‌Ukraine.
