GM’s second-quarter US auto sales fall 4%

July 1 (Reuters) – General Motors ​on ‌Wednesday reported a 4.2% drop ‌in ​U.S. ⁠auto sales ⁠during the second quarter, as ​inflationary pressures ⁠kept ⁠some new ​vehicle buyers ​at bay.

The automaker ‌notched quarterly sales ⁠of 714,896 units compared ⁠with 746,588 ‌units ⁠a ​year ‌earlier.
