Shein pledges commitment to data laws after Irish regulator opens probe

LONDON, May 5 (Reuters) – Chinese ​online ‌retailer Shein said on ‌Tuesday ​it ⁠took its ⁠data protection obligations “extremely seriously” and ​was committed ⁠to ⁠complying ​with all ​applicable laws, after ‌Ireland’s regulator opened ⁠an inquiry into the ⁠transfer ‌of ⁠European users’ ​data ‌to ​China.
