US House passes temporary funding bill to end Homeland Security shutdown

March 27 (Reuters) – The U.S. ​House ‌of Representatives late ‌on ​Friday ⁠passed legislation ⁠providing funding for the Department ​of ⁠Homeland ⁠Security ​through May ​22.

It faces probable ‌defeat in ⁠the Senate, however, where ⁠Democrats ‌are ⁠expected ​to ‌oppose it.
