Indonesia seeks $5 billion budget savings to face Iran war impact

JAKARTA, March 21 (Reuters) – Indonesia is seeking an ​estimated 80 ‌trillion rupiah ($5 billion) in budget savings to help ‌cope ​with ⁠the impact of ⁠the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, presidential spokesperson Prasetyo ​Hadi said in an ⁠interview ⁠published on Saturday.

In ​the video interview ​with several journalists ‌and experts, President Prabowo Subianto said the ⁠Southeast Asian nation was working very hard ⁠on ‌budget efficiency ⁠to address ​the ‌impact of ​the conflict.
