South Korea to host French President Macron for April 2-3 state visit, Blue House says

SEOUL, March 13 (Reuters) – South Korean President Lee Jae ​Myung will host ‌French President Emmanuel Macron for a state visit to South ‌Korea ​between ⁠April 2 to ⁠3, Lee’s office said.

The two leaders will meet on April ​3 for an official welcome ⁠ceremony, ⁠summit talks, agreement ​signings and a state ​luncheon, the presidential Blue ‌House said in a statement.

Lee and Macron are ⁠expected to discuss trade, investment and cooperation in ⁠areas ‌such as AI, ⁠quantum technology, ​space ‌and nuclear energy, ​as well ⁠as regional and global issues, it said.
