Gotham FC activated captain Tierna Davidson from the season-ending injury list on Sunday.
The veteran U.S. Women’s National Team defender missed most of the 2025 campaign with a torn ACL.
Davidson, 27, is entering her third season with Gotham after playing for the Chicago Red Stars from 2019-23.
The defending NWSL champions open the 2026 regular season on March 14 against the host Boston Legacy.
Davidson has earned 67 caps with the USWNT, winning the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
