India likely to see above-average temperatures in March, weather office says

MUMBAI, Feb 28 (Reuters) – India is ​likely ‌to experience above-average temperatures across ‌most ​regions ⁠in March ⁠following a warmer-than-usual February, the weather ​office said ⁠on ⁠Saturday.

Both maximum ​and minimum ​temperatures are expected ‌to remain above average ⁠in most areas during March, ⁠Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, ‌director-general ⁠of ​the ‌India Meteorological ​Department, said.
