Report: Marlins signing RHP Chris Paddack to 1-year deal

The Miami Marlins are signing right-hander Chris Paddack ‍to a one-year deal, MLB Network reported Monday.

The 30-year-old free agent’s deal ‌is worth $4 million ‌plus up to an additional $500,000 in incentives, per the report.

Paddack was originally ​drafted by Miami in ‍the eighth ​round in 2015 ​but was traded ‍to San Diego the next year.

He split last season with Detroit and ‍Minnesota, going 5-12 with a 5.35 ERA and ‍one ‍save in ​33 games (28 starts).

Paddack ​is ⁠32-36 with ‌a 4.64 ERA in 118 games (110 starts) with the Padres (2019-21), Twins (2022-25) and Tigers.
