Magnitude 5.58 earthquake strikes Papua New Guinea, GFZ says

Jan 27 (Reuters) – An earthquake ‍of magnitude 5.5 struck ‌New ‌Guinea, Papua New Guinea, on Tuesday, the ​German ‍Research ​Centre ​for Geosciences (GFZ) ‍said.

The quake was at a ‍depth of 10 km (6 ‍miles), ‍GFZ ​said.
