FBI agent who tried to probe ICE officer in Minnesota shooting resigns, New York Times reports

WASHINGTON, Jan 23 (Reuters) – An FBI agent who ‍tried to probe the U.S. immigration officer who fatally ‌shot a 37-year-old ‌U.S. citizen in Minneapolis earlier this month has resigned, the ​New York Times reported ‍on ​Friday, citing ​sources.

The FBI agent ‍was named Tracee Mergen. Earlier this month, Renee Good, a ‍37-year-old mother of three living in ‍Minnesota, ‍was shot ​dead in ​her ⁠car by federal ‌agent Jonathan Ross.
