PARIS, Jan 21 (Reuters) – French dairy group Lactalis said on Wednesday it was recalling six batches of baby milk of the Picot brand in France, due to the presence of cereulide in an ingredient sourced from a supplier.
Cereulide, a substance of bacterial origin, may cause diarrhoea and vomiting, the statement said.
The toxin was also the cause for a recall by Nestle of some batches of baby milk formula earlier this month.
