Jan 14 (Reuters) – Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari said the Trump administration’s actions against the central bank in the past year were “really about monetary policy,” as he came to the defense of Fed chair Jerome Powell.
Kashkari made the comments in an interview with the New York Times published on Wednesday.
