BEIJING, Dec 29 (Reuters) – China’s military will conduct live fire exercises around Taiwan on Tuesday, state news agency Xinhua reported on Monday, with a graphic demarcatating five zones surrounding the island that will be under sea and air space restrictions.
A spokesperson for China’s Eastern Theatre said the drills are called “Just Mission 2025” and will focus on naval and airforce combat readiness and controlling key ports and other areas.
