EU plans duties on European scrap steel exports, draft shows

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Commission plans to propose export restrictions, duties on European scrap steel and metals exports as part of measures to shore up its ailing industry, a draft of the steel action plan showed.
The EU will also investigate possible safeguard measures to counter U.S. tariffs on aluminium and steel.
