Trump treasury nominee Bessent’s Senate hearing set for Jan. 16

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Senate Finance Committee on Friday said it will hold a Jan. 16 nomination hearing on President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the U.S. Treasury Department, Scott Bessent.
