Nov 04 (Field Level Media) – Game 7 of the WNBA Finals was the most-watched broadcast in the history of ‌the league’s playoffs, the WNBA announced on Tuesday.

3.3 million viewers tuned in for the Golden State Valkyries’ 68-63 victory over the ‌Atlanta Dream on Oct. 31, the first-ever Game 7 in the league’s history.

“Game 7 put an exclamation point on USA Sports’ ‌incredible first season as a WNBA media partner, as our coverage set new viewership records and connected more fans with the game,” USA Sports President Matt Hong said. “Our 2026 WNBA coverage is the latest example ‌of USA Sports’ ability to draw large, diverse audiences on ‌multiple TV and digital platforms and underscores our role as a home for top-tier sports properties.”

The game was the second-most-watched WNBA game on any platform since 1997 and the fourth-most-watched game ever.
