Oct 16 (Field Level Media) – The NBA moved up the tipoff of the Bucks’ home opener against the Chicago ‌Bulls on Oct. 23 to avoid a conflict with Game 1 of the World Series, which will be held in Milwaukee that ‌evening.

Per the Bucks, their home opener was moved to 3 p.m. CT. The original start time for the game was 7 p.m., the same as the first pitch of Game 1 of the Fall Classic.

The Milwaukee Brewers punched their ticket to the World Series on Thursday by completing a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National ‌League Championship Series.

The Brewers will face either the Tampa Bay Rays or Cleveland Guardians. The Guardians lead 2-1 in the American League best-of-seven series.

“The Brewers’ return to the World Series for the first time in ‌44 years is a special moment for Milwaukee and sports fans ‌across Wisconsin,” the Bucks said in a statement. “Congratulations to the Brewers and the entire organization on this tremendous achievement, and we’ll be cheering them on as they begin their World Series run.”
