TGL’s new funding doubles valuation to $1B

Sep 11 (Field Level Media) – TMRW Sports, the parent company of TGL, is finalizing ​a new round of funding ‌that will double the business’ valuation to $1 billion, according to Front Office Sports.

After the Series A round, the business was ‌valued ​at close to $500 million ⁠and reportedly increased ⁠to $650 million during last year’s funding round.

There have reportedly been conversations between TMRW and some investors dating back ​to July, around the time of the World Cup final. Dynasty ⁠Equity, which was ⁠a co-leader for the 2024 ​Series A, is reportedly a part of ​the new funding.

The other co-leading firm ‌from Series A, Connect Ventures, has not yet announced if it will be a part of this round.

TMRW ⁠Sports was established by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and former Golf Channel president Mike ⁠McCarley in ‌2022.

Investors include Philadelphia 76ers, ⁠New Jersey Devils, and Washington ​Commanders ‌co-owner David Blitzer, Atlanta ​Falcons owner ⁠Arthur Blank, New York Giants co-owner and Gotham FC governor Carolyn Tisch Blodgett, Fenway Sports Group, Alexis Ohanian, Michael Rubin, Justin Bieber, and Shaquille O’Neal.
