Enbridge nears $2 billion deal for Blackstone’s Pony Express crude pipeline, Bloomberg News reports

Sept 9 (Reuters) – Enbridge is in advanced talks to ​buy the ‌major crude oil pipeline Pony Express Pipeline in the U.S. ‌from ​Blackstone-owned ⁠Tallgrass Energy for ⁠about $2 billion, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people ​familiar with the matter.

A ⁠deal could ⁠be announced in ​the coming days, ​the report said.

No final ‌decision has been made, and discussions could fall ⁠through or the timing could change, the ⁠report ‌added.

Enbridge, Blackstone and ⁠Tallgrass Energy ​did ‌not immediately respond ​to ⁠Reuters requests for comment.
