BASF sues Apple in US for allegedly infringing its face authentication patents

Sept 3 (Reuters) – BASF sued ​Apple ‌on Thursday, accusing ‌the ​iPhone ⁠maker of ⁠infringing the German company’s patented ​face ⁠authentication ⁠technology ​in dozens ​of iPhone and ‌iPad models.

The ⁠complaint was filed in ⁠the ‌U.S. ⁠District ​Court ‌in Midland, ​Texas.
