Orlando City loan M Colin Guske to Real Salt Lake

Orlando City loaned 19-year-old midfielder Colin Guske to Real Salt Lake for the remainder of the 2026 ​season, both clubs announced Friday.

The ‌Lions receive $50,000 in general allocation money in the deal, while RSL holds an option to make the trade permanent at the end of ‌the ​loan.

“Orlando City has been ⁠my home for ⁠a long time, and I’m thankful to everyone … who has supported me throughout my journey,” he said. “I’m grateful for ​the opportunity to continue my development through this move and for the ⁠trust the Club has ⁠shown in helping me take ​this next step. My focus is on ​improving every day, earning opportunities on the ‌field and helping the team however I can. I’m excited and looking forward to this next challenge.”

Guske has appeared ⁠in 16 matches for Orlando City across all competitions since signing a first-team contract as a ⁠homegrown ‌player in December 2024.

He has ⁠shined in the MLS NEXT ​Pro ‌ranks, earning All-Star honors in ​2024 and ⁠contributing one goal and four assists in 46 games (45 starts) for Orlando City B.

Real Salt Lake (8-7-4, 28 points) will visit Orlando City (6-11-3, 21 points) on Saturday night.
