Orlando City loaned 19-year-old midfielder Colin Guske to Real Salt Lake for the remainder of the 2026 season, both clubs announced Friday.
The Lions receive $50,000 in general allocation money in the deal, while RSL holds an option to make the trade permanent at the end of the loan.
“Orlando City has been my home for a long time, and I’m thankful to everyone … who has supported me throughout my journey,” he said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue my development through this move and for the trust the Club has shown in helping me take this next step. My focus is on improving every day, earning opportunities on the field and helping the team however I can. I’m excited and looking forward to this next challenge.”
Guske has appeared in 16 matches for Orlando City across all competitions since signing a first-team contract as a homegrown player in December 2024.
He has shined in the MLS NEXT Pro ranks, earning All-Star honors in 2024 and contributing one goal and four assists in 46 games (45 starts) for Orlando City B.
Real Salt Lake (8-7-4, 28 points) will visit Orlando City (6-11-3, 21 points) on Saturday night.
