Tesla is recalling 20,349 vehicles in the U.S. over low-beam headlights that may ‌be excessively bright, potentially reducing visibility for oncoming drivers and raising crash risk, ‌the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday.

Here are further details:

• The recall affects certain Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, NHTSA said.

• A remedy is yet to be finalized, according to the auto safety regulator.

• The ‌recall comes as Tesla faces continuing regulatory scrutiny over vehicle safety.

• In July, NHTSA said it had opened a preliminary investigation ‌into about 1.2 million Tesla vehicles over ‌reports of suspension failures that could lead to a loss of steering control.
