Kelsey Plum won’t be able to play against her former team when the Phoenix Mercury visit the Los Angeles ‌Sparks on Tuesday.

Phoenix listed Plum as out on Monday’s injury report due to a lower left leg injury, which ‌she suffered Sunday in a loss to the Washington Mystics. The team referred to her ailment as left calf tightness when she left that game.

She missed almost six weeks of the season with a lower left leg injury and made her Mercury debut Aug. 3.

The Mercury acquired the five-time All-Star from the Sparks ‌ahead of the trade deadline earlier this month, sending Monique Akoa Makani, a 2027 first-round draft pick and a 2028 second-rounder to Los Angeles.

Over 16 games (15 starts), Plum has put up ‌22.3 points per game, which would rank third in ‌the league if she had played enough games to qualify for the leaderboard. In four appearances (three starts) for Phoenix, she has averaged 17.3 points and 3.3 assists per game.
