Delta flight makes emergency landing in Atlanta

NEW YORK, Aug 8 (Reuters) – A Delta Air Lines ​flight with more ‌than 200 people aboard made an emergency landing in Atlanta on Saturday after crew ‌reported ​fumes in ⁠the cockpit, a ⁠spokesperson for the company said.

• One crew member and one passenger ​sought medical attention, airline spokesperson says via ⁠email

• Crew ⁠members on Florida-bound Flight ​2204 declared an emergency ​shortly after takeoff, and the ‌plane returned to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

• Delta said in ⁠a statement that passengers evacuated from the plane by slides ⁠and ‌were being transferred ⁠to a new ​flight ‌to Orlando.

• The ​plane carried ⁠six crew members and 199 customers, Delta said.
